Pete was my PO and Martin 'Griff' Griffiths who has also crossed the bar was my LH.

Very long story short.

Griff and I had been on a very boozy night out, during which i had taken a tumble and heavily grazed my face. Griff and i were day shift the following day. I WAS LATE AND STILL VERY DRUNK WHEN I TURNED TO. Pete bless him after he had finished peeing himself laughing, sent me out the cut the grass with a pair of shears. I then staggered out to the HF aerial compound with said shears and promptly fell asleep against the fence, only to be woken by Pete's size 10 boot on the other side of it. The story does go on but you get the gist. This was typical of Pete a great sense of humour and such a caring guy, so full of compassion, to wake a guy when he was suffering a hangover. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

RIP Pete, I have very fond memories working with you.

PS you must have his year of birth wrong. He looked like a piece of skin in the 80's. He must have had an easy paper round.🤣🤣🤣
